We believe Jesus Christ is Lord over all (Colossians 1:18) and that Scripture alone is our final authority. As a covenant community, we proclaim the truth of Christ (John 8:32), live on mission in Woburn, and grow through the ordinary means of grace: the Word of God faithfully preached, the Sacraments, and prayer.
As a church of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil (IPB), we hold to the Westminster Standards as our confession of faith, including the Westminster Confession, Larger Catechism, and Shorter Catechism. These historic documents faithfully summarize the teachings of Scripture. For a detailed look at what we believe, click the button below to download the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Our Mission Beliefs
At CTK Veritas, we exist to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, live under His lordship, and build a covenant community rooted in Scripture. We seek to speak and live the truth of Christ, reach Woburn with the hope of the gospel, and grow through the Word, the Sacraments, and prayer.
01
Christ as King (Colossians 1:18)
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord over every area of life. Our worship, service, and community life are lived under His rule and for His glory.
02
Sola Scriptura (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, our ultimate authority for faith and life. Every sermon, study, and decision is rooted in Scripture.
03
Covenant Community (Acts 2:42–47)
We believe the church is a family united in Christ. We build deep relationships through small groups, discipleship, and regular fellowship, encouraging one another in the faith.
04
Truth in a Post-Truth World (John 8:32)
We believe the truth of Christ sets people free. We are committed to speaking, teaching, and living that truth in love, especially among the next generation.
05
Mission to the City (Matthew 28:19–20)
We believe the gospel compels us to serve our community. We reach the people in Woburn through relevant worship, compassionate service, and gospel-centered outreach.
06
The Ordinary Means of Grace (Acts 2:42; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
We believe God uses the Word, the Sacraments, and prayer to strengthen His people and grow His church. These are central to our weekly worship and spiritual formation.
